WORDS

LIVE LIFE. DIE OLD.

My interpretation and translation of the Latin trope "Tempus Fugit, Memento Mori" did not come easy, nor did it come until I reached mid-life. I do what I do because I am driven by a force I've never been able to explain and never been able to substantially describe to anyone else. The closest I've gotten is to explain it as a drive to "live life" with an exploratory and experimental creative force. But I've always been grounded in nostalgia and the artifacts left behind by the passing of time; I have a deep desire to "die old" so that I can experience and contribute to our shared histories in this journey.

The things I value in this life so far are...

nature

The natural world that surrounds us, that has been, that is yet to be

wisdom

The knowledge and discernment to live successfully in this world and with each other

beauty

The pure and authentic nature of individual and collective expression

experimentation

The experience of creating and being apart of new manifestations
